Up until the launch of the Response Rate, Members who responded to more than 90% of received inquiries earned an “Expert Responder” badge. The badge is displayed on their Listing and Profile pages. On the Search Page you can filter your search results according to badges that Members have earned.
In addition to displaying earned badges, we now also display the exact response rate publicly.
The Response Rate helps you increase credibility as it shows that you take all received inquiries seriously by responding to them whether you are interested or not.
The Response Rate is shown on your Profile page, just below your Profile photo.
Apart from the Profile page, the Response rate is visible in search results. Each Listing summary will display the Member’s Response Rate. Listings with a high Response Rate will be displayed on top of the search results.
How is the Response Rate calculated?
To calculate your Response Rate we take into account every inquiry received in the past 6 months offset by 7 days. For example, on May 1st your Response Rate would be calculated based on the inquiries received between October 23 and April 23. This way Members have 7 days to respond to an inquiry before it affects their Response Rate. For Members who improved their response rate in the past 7 days, that time period will be taken into account.
For new Members, the Response rate will display the words “Newbie” until they receive their first inquiry.
How does the Response Rate affect search results?
The Response rate is visible in search results, on each Listing summary you will notice the word “Response rate” followed by a number.
Moreover, you can sort results based on the Response Rate.
Sorting options on the Search Page:
Results can be sorted according to the following parameters:
• Most Relevant first
• Recently Updated first
• High Response Rate first

Why should I improve my response rate?
Improving your Response rate should help you increase interest in your Listing as well as increase the number of inquiries you receive, as it shows that you take all inquiries seriously by responding to them, whether you are interested or not.
The Response rate is an important tool that helps members in their communication and exchange plans.
We believe it can help us build a strong community of Members you can trust and show respect to each other.
If your Response rate falls below 65%, you will notice a notification at the top of the page on your Dashboard.
